amazing stay near the grand canal

the location proved excellent as it was a brief walk from st mark's square. i found nearby restaurants very convenient. breakfast on the terrace provided a beautiful grand canal view. the breakfast selection was simple. yet satisfying. we loved the delicious fresh pastries.
the bed comprised two single beds pushed together. this arrangement made sleeping quite uncomfortable. during the night, the beds separated. it led to a disturbed rest. i nearly fell onto the floor.

breakfast featured a variety of pastries, breads, and hot items such as scrambled eggs. fresh coffee and tea were promptly served by the staff each morning. there was also a selection of fruit juices and cereals.

The hotel was not easy to find after I got off the vaporetto. There were many bridges and steps with luggage. It was really a struggle..

The hotel is near the Rialto Bridge. I appreciated the common areas with Grand Canal views. The breakfast included fresh orange juice and tasty croissants. The staff was respectful and kind.
The bathroom had some issues. Some tiles were protruding and potentially dangerous. There was a tub, but the ceiling above it was peeling. Pieces of plaster fell into the water during the bath.

The room was quite small. I think there was some misrepresentation. The furniture seemed old and the fabric wallpaper needed serious refreshment. The shower also showed its age. At least the staff was friendly
